Number of births in Italy 2022, by region

In 2022, Lombardy counted the largest number of births in Italy, with around 67,500 newborns. Campania and Lazio followed, with about 44,500 and 36,800 births, respectively. On the contrary, Aosta Valley recorded the lowest number of children born during 2022.
