Uruguay: most voted candidates in 2019 presidential elections
During the general elections held in Uruguay on October 27, 2019, the candidate Daniel Martínez, who represents the current governing coalition Frente Amplio, obtained the highest number of votes, amounting to almost 940 thousand. With this preliminary result, Martínez will have to face the second most voted candidate, Luis Lacalle Pou, in a runoff election on November 24th.
