A survey of Indonesian consumer behavior for Ramadan in 2020 found that 40 percent of the respondents were influenced by personalized ads to make purchases. During Ramadan, there is usually an increase in spending among Indonesian Muslims. This was driven in part by the 13th month salary that every Indonesian employee received.
