Advertising revenue of selected nightly network newscasts in the U.S. 2018-2020
Nighty newscasts on network channels in the United States experienced positive growth in ad revenues during the second quarter of 2020 due to the increase in viewership caused by the outbreak of the pandemic. Compared to the same period in 2019, ABC's nightly news program recorded an increase in ad revenue of 21 percent, reaching 52 million U.S dollars. CBS and NBC saw gains of three and seven percent, respectively.
