Rule of law index in Libya 2010-2020
In 2020, the rule of law index for Libya stood at minus 1.97, a decrease compared to the previous year which recorded a score of minus 1.85 points. The value for 2020 was the country’s lowest index score since 2010. Within the period examined, Libya's score constantly had a negative value, indicating low confidence in the country's rule of law, including contract enforcement, property rights, and criminal justice.
