In 2020, Latin American technology-based companies (also called Tecnolatinas) with a regional geographic strategy were valued at over 100 billion U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, a large portion of the Tecnolatinas' ecosystem value was credited to startups focusing on the Brazilian market, which reported a market value of 68 billion U.S. dollars.
