Europe's used car retail market segmentation in 2020
As of 2020, business-to-consumer (B2C retail) represented 55 percent of the used car market value in Europe, despite amounting to 40 percent of the market's volume. The consumer-to-consumer (C2C) segment represented 60 percent of the used car market volume, but 45 percent of its value. The market is expected to grow between three and four percent annually through 2025.
