Number of COVID-19 vaccinations by resident doctors Germany 2021, by patient age
As of May 2021, German resident doctors had fully vaccinated 1,020,784 people aged under 60 and 1,583,650 people aged 60 years and older against the coronavirus (COVID-19). At that time, vaccination priority rules varied due to government and individual federal state regulations, and it also took several months before resident doctors were allowed to vaccinate patients. Medical practices also had to contend with smaller vaccine deliveries.
