Number of fintech companies South Korea 2021, by sector
In 2022, there were about 121 fintech companies in the payment settlement sector in South Korea, accounting for about 22 percent of all South Korean fintech companies surveyed. This was followed by the capital intermediation and asset transaction sector, with about 87 companies operating in that field.
