Anaemia prevalence among women of reproductive age in Mexico 2012-2019
From 2012 to 2019, the percentage of women of reproductive age with anaemia remained relatively stable in Mexico. In 2019, about 15.3 percent of women aged between 15 and 49 years suffered from anaemia in the Latin American country, roughly 0.6 percentage points less than the highest figure depicted, recorded in 2012. According to a classification of the World Health Organization (WHO), anaemia prevalence in Mexico was mild during the depicted period.
