Japan: frequency of having sex among women by age

According to a survey conducted in February 2020, about 21 percent of female respondents in Japan aged 20 to 29 years had sexual intercourse two to three days a month in the past year. An overall share of around 50 percent of surveyed women did not have sex for a year or more.
