HNWI net loss in Russia and Ukraine 2019-2022

In 2022, 15 thousand more high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) were expected to emigrate from Russia than to relocate to the country. The figure was significantly higher than in 2019 due to the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022. Furthermore, a net loss of 2.8 thousand millionaires was estimated for Ukraine.
