Domestic passenger revenues of non-designated air carriers in Japan FY 2017-2022
In the fiscal year 2022, the domestic passenger revenues of Japanese non-designated air carriers amounted to approximately 26.68 billion Japanese yen, increasing from roughly 17.58 billion yen in the previous fiscal year. The most revenue-earning non-designated air carrier was Fuji Dream Airlines Co., Ltd. In Japan, non-designated domestic air carriers are small commercial aircraft operators. Unlike designated air carriers, these licensed businesses do not operate aircraft exceeding 100 passenger seats or a maximum takeoff weight of 50 tons.
