According to a survey conducted in 2022, the share of Algerian respondents planning to visit their hometown to celebrate Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr was higher compared to 2021. Some 71 percent reported their willingness to visit home for the festivities in 2022 compared to 55 percent in the previous year.
