Customer attitude toward online finance in Germany 2018-2024, by quarter
The share of bank account holders who could imagine dealing with their financial transactions exclusively online decreased notably in Germany between 2018 and 2024. According to Statista's Consumer Insights, more than 50 percent of the bank account holders found it possible to deal with their finances exclusively online in 2018. In the first quarter of 2024, however, only 35 percent of the respondents indicated the same attitude towards online financial transactions.
