Acceptability of borrowing money in Czechia 2023, by purpose
According to a survey from March to May 2023, most people in Czechia thought that borrowing money to finance housing (e.g., mortgage) was the most acceptable reason. Loans for business and study purposes were the second and third most accepted by the public, respectively. However, borrowing money for vacation or Christmas presents was found unacceptable by a vast majority of the respondents.
