Rakuten Insight in July 2023, approximately 49 percent of respondents aged from 16 to 24 years in Singapore indicated that they rarely purchased items, only between one to three times in the past year, after viewing sponsored advertisements on social media platforms. Meanwhile, five percent of respondents from that age group often purchased items after viewing an ad on social media.
