Transshipments in the Polish seaports in international traffic 2021, by goods
In 2021, the Port of Gdansk handled 53.2 million cargoes, 10.8 percent higher than in 2020. According to the source, the Port of Gdansk in 2021 rose to the third position in the Baltic Sea, overtaking the Russian Port of Primorsk. The port's result was influenced by increased turnover in handling liquid fuels and general cargo (LCL). General cargo (LCL) accounted for the largest share of marine transshipments in all ports in Poland.
