Most diagnosed chronic conditions in people aged 53 - 59 in Mexico 2021, by gender
As of 2021, the main diagnosed chronic condition for women and men aged 53 to 59 years in Mexico was hypertension. That year, an estimated 40.9 percent of women had received a hypertension diagnosis, while 29.7 percent of men were suffering from the same condition. Hypertension was followed by diabetes as the second most diagnosed condition for both women and men. Arthritis, lung disease, heart attack, embolism and cancer were also prevalent to a lesser extend.
