Share of readers in Czechia 2007-2023, by number of books read per year
In the observed period, 10 percent of people stopped reading books altogether in Czechia. This figure rose from 17 percent to 27 percent of non-readers. Similarly, the share of people reading more than seven books a year dropped. However, the percentage of people reading one to six books yearly increased by four percent.
