Most common cancer types in adults in South Korea 2021
In 2021, thyroid cancer in people aged between 35 and 64 years in South Korea had a crude incidence rate of 103.6 cases per 100,000 population. This made it the most common type of cancer in that age group, followed by breast and colorectal cancer. The overall cancer crude incidence rate for this age group stood at 537.3 cases that year.
