Most common cancer types in seniors in South Korea 2021
In 2021, lung cancer in people aged 65 years and older in South Korea had a crude incidence rate of 259.7 cases per 100,000 population. This made it the most common type of cancer in that age group, followed by colorectal and stomach cancer. The overall cancer crude incidence rate for this age group stood at 1,569.1 cases that year.
