Most common cancer types in South Korea 2021, by age group
In 2021, around 34 percent of child cancer patients in South Korea were diagnosed with leukemia. Among young adults thyroid cancer was the most common, at about 42 percent. Colorectal was among the most common cancers across a large segment of the population, with the exception of the youngest agr group.
