Under the SSP1-2.6 low emission scenario, it is expected that sea levels in Brazil will rise 9.96 centimeters (cm) during the next decades, and 20.09 cm by mid-century, relative to the historic baseline. Sea levels will continue rising to reach 40.5 cm by 2099, following the same scenario.
