Dengue cases incidence rate in El Salvador 2014-2024
Between 2014 and 2023, there was an overall decreasing trend in the incidence rate of dengue cases in El Salvador. The lowest figure was observed in 2017, with 67.37 cases per 100,000 people. During the beginning 2024, the incidence rate of dengue cases in the country reached 27.75 cases per 100,000 people. Within the Latin American region, Paraguay is the country with the highest dengue incidence rate.
