U.S. part-time employees seasonally adjusted 2022-2024
As of March 2024, about 28.63 million people were employed on a part-time basis in the United States. In line with the definition of the BLS, part-time workers are persons who usually work less than 35 hours per week. Seasonal adjustment is a statistical method for removing the seasonal component of a time series used when analyzing non-seasonal trends, whereas non-seasonally-adjusted reflects the actual current data.
