This survey shows the public opinion on the science topic of genetically modified (GM) crops and its risk/benefit ratio as perceived in the United Kingdom in 2013. While there were nearly 30 percent of the respondents saying the risks attached to this area outweigh its benefits, still more than a third of the surveyed valued the beneficial aspects more highly than the negative sides to GM crops.
