Share of young U.S. adults who have completed high school 1980-2020
In 2020, 94.3 percent of young adults ages 18–24 had completed high school with a diploma or an alternative credential in the United States. This value remained unchanged from the previous year, and was the highest share of young adults with a high school disploma since 1980.
