Distribution of payment terms in B2B commerce in Great Britain 2017, by length
This statistic illustrates the distribution of average payment terms in domestic and foreign business to business (B2B) commerce according to companies in Great Britain as of the first quarter of 2017, broken down by term length. It can be seen that amongst responding companies the largest share (87.5 percent) stated that they expected payments in a period of one to 30 days at that time. A further nine percent of respondents stated that the average payment term was between 31 and 60 days, whilst only 0.5 percent of respondents stating that the average payment term was more than 90 days as of the first quarter of 2017.
