This statistic shows the percentage of women aged 15 to 44 years who used birth control pills or long-acting reversible contraception in the U.S. from 2011 to 2013, by marital status. During this time, 43.5 percent of surveyed women who were never married used birth control pills, while only 7.6 percent used long-acting reversible contraception.
