Total assets of ABN AMRO Group 2014-2023
The total assets of the ABN AMRO Group increased overall between 2014 and 2023, despite some fluctuations. In 2023, the value of assets held by Netherlands-based bank ABN AMRO reached a total of approximately 378 billion euros. This is a slight decrease compared to the number reached in the previous year.
In the Netherlands, a few large institutions dominate the domestic financial markets. In 2021, for example, the five largest Dutch credit institutions, which include ING, Rabobank and ABN AMRO , held approximately 85 percent of the total assets. The Dutch banking sector, consequently, is one of the most concentrated in Europe.
