Occupancy rate of 5-star hotels in Mexico's beach destinations 2020
The city of Mazatlán in the Mexican state of Sinaloa was the country's beach destination with the highest occupancy among 5-star hotels in 2020, with a rate above 44 percent. Cabo San Lucas in Baja California Sur followed that year with an hotel bed occupancy of nearly 38 percent. Both cities are located on the Pacific coast.
