Share of TV stations distributing news to other outlets in the U.S. 2017-2022
According to the most recent data, 39.7 percent of TV stations providing news to other outlets in the United States did so for local radio in 2022. This figure was in line with trends in 2017 and 2018, whereas those providing news for television stations in another market dropped from more than 20 percent in 2017 to just over 14 percent in 2022.
