Revenue from tuition fees of higher education institutions in the U.S. 2010-2021
In the academic year of 2020/21, private for-profit universities and colleges in the United States received a total of 13.5 billion U.S. dollars of revenue through tuition and fees charged to students. This is compared to public institutions, which brought in 81.88 billion U.S. dollars worth of revenue from tuition and fees in that same year.
