Health spending in Cuba as share of GDP 2010-2021
Cuba's healthcare expenditure in 2021 represented 14 percent of the Latin American country's gross domestic product (GDP), up from 12 percent recorded a year earlier. During the decade analyzed, this figure ranged between an equivalent of nine and 14 percent of the country's GDP. Cuba reports the highest healthcare expenditure as a share of GDP among Latin American and Caribbean countries.
