In 2020, 394 million worked hours per week were registered in Morocco, as against the 494 million hours in 2019, representing a loss of 20 percent. In the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector, working hours declined by 17 percent. Moreover, for this sector, more work hours were lost in the rural areas (17.4 percent), compared to urban zones which reported a 13.6 percent loss.
