Factors negatively impacting leisure activities for museum-goers in the U.S. 2023
According to a 2023 survey, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic or other public health concerns were the main factors that negatively affected leisure time activities among museum-goers in the United States. Overall, roughly eight in ten frequent museum visitors stated so, whereas just under half of surveyed U.S. adults said the same. Meanwhile, 44 percent of museum-goers indicated inflation as a factor impacting leisure activities, compared to 54 percent of U.S. adults.
